The program for the dissemination, training and transfer of technologies that use renewable energies is one of the main lines of work of CECADE. We adapt, transfer and disseminate technologies that use renewable energy to improve the quality of life of rural families and provide solutions to local, regional and global socio-environmental problems, such as climate change.

We develop training workshops in technologies that use renewable energies, as well as organize local, national and international scientific events for the dissemination and exchange of experiences in renewable energies.

We have consolidated technologies that we have been applying and improving over the last 35 years and that currently have been spread throughout the Cusco region and different regions of Peru:

Andean greenhouses:

The organic production of agricultural products in greenhouses is an option to generate resources and work.

Solar corn and potato dryers:

37 years ago the first solar corn dryer was built, today with the support of CECADE, these dryers continue to be used and widely distributed at the regional level, particularly in the province of Paruro. CECADE has experts with extensive experience in the design and construction of solar dryers for a variety of products from the mountains, coast and jungle.

Upgraded wood stoves:

A variety of models have been designed and built for family and community use. The kitchens incorporate an oven that is preheated with the residual fam and is used to bake different types of cakes and roasts. Training and dissemination workshops are held in the dining rooms of Educational Institutions.
